Sally Lohan is an artist, writer and trend forecaster. Her work explores the evolution of industry and consumer culture. She graduated from the London College of Fashion with First Class Honors in 2001 and her multifunctional 'mobius' collection, film and website landed her a finalist spot in the Multimedia Prize at Graduate Fashion Week. She also has a degree in English Literature from UCL. After several years working as a journalist in London for a variety of magazines and newspapers including The Times, The Independent, and the Daily Express, Sally relocated to Los Angeles and was hired by trend forecasting company WGSN in 2004. She has worked as a creative consultant with numerous companies, including Gap, Nike, JCPenney, Nordstrom, Mattel, Starbucks, Microsoft, Ford, and Warner Bros and has lectured and taught courses on design trends at a variety of art schools across the world, including Parsons The New School for Design, The Art Institute, The Academy of Art San Francisco, FIDM, PCC and the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Her illustration, photography and trend research have been featured in the pages of The Guardian, the Daily Express, O Globo and other publications worldwide. She is currently the Senior Trend Director, Global Design at Nike.
